Default token list & local hiding of spam tokens
Last updated: April 18, 2026
Spam tokens are increasingly becoming an issue on various networks we support. We have introduced two new features to protect inexperienced users from engaging with potentially malicious assets and provide a tool for everyone to customize the assets they see in their Safe interface.
Default token lists
Token lists are enabled by default for everyone, limited to networks where they are available, and restrict the assets the user sees and can interact with in the interface. You can easily switch to "All tokens" to see every asset within your Safe.

Which lists do you use for the default token feature? (last update: 31.01.23)
Ethereum: Coingecko list
Polygon: Coingecko list
Optimism: Official Optimism list
Gnosis Chain: Honeyswap list
Binance Smart Chain: Pancakeswap list
Aurora: Official Aurora list
How can I add my token to the default token list for one or multiple networks?
Safe does not influence the curation of the default token lists. Request for adding a token should be made in the respective token list repositories directly.
