The list of added Safes is stored locally in your browser. This means there are a couple of cases where you want to add or load a new Safe into the interface. These may include:

  • You want to access your Safe from a different device/browser

  • You want to interact with a Safe where another party made you an owner

  • You want to add any existing Safe in read-only mode

After connecting a signer wallet, you can add a Safe following the steps below:

You can access the page above by following this link;

Step 1: Select the blockchain network for this Safe.

Step 2: Enter the name and address.

While it's not mandatory, we recommend giving a name to the Safe you want to add so that you can identify it later in the list of Safes on the interface. This name is only stored locally in the browser, so nobody besides you will ever see this name.

After giving a name, paste the address of the Safe that you want to add. The green checkmark indicates that this is indeed a verified Safe that can be added.

Step 3: Name the Safe's owners

You should give each of the Safe signers a distinct name so you can later distinguish them. These names are also stored in the address book but always kept private in the local storage of your browser.

Step 4: Review and add

Review and ensure you have added the correct information then go ahead an click the "Add" button.

Congratulations. You have successfully added another Safe to your browser. Here is how to add an existing Safe on mobile.
